Day 4 Part 2 The Disco

Day Four

Today we went on a seven mile hike through the Isle of Wight to Alum Bay.The hike took us past a memorial site, rabbit droppings and LOADS AND LOADS of hills. When we arrived at Alum Bay we split up into groups or pairs and went off shopping. There was loads of shops to choose from Sweet shops,Ice Cream shops,Coloured Sand filling shops and a merry go round and other rides. In the coloured Sand shop you picked an object to fill with your coloured sand then you layered on the sand and put on the cork top.In the sweet shop there was loads of rock and pick'n'mix. After shopping we all retreated back to the Arcade and played on the machines. When it was time to go our coach driver Ian picked us up and we drove back to the chestnuts. We are all really looking forward to the Disco and Karaoke tonight as well as dinner,Burger

Day Two

Tuesday, 2 June 2009

Yesterday, Yr 6 took a coachride to Osbourne house and groungs. First of all, we explored around Queen Victoria's chilrens play house, as big most of our houses, and took a stroll around Queen Victoria's summer house. There were painting strung up on the walls of facinating portraits of Prince Albert and Queen Victoria themselves. We saw where all the Queen's childrens favourite places were, the smallest sissors and penknife in the world, a five legged deer and a nine legged spider!!!! We then smooched along the be ach on dinosour Isle and saw a dinosoooooour's footprint!!! All in all, I'm sure everyone will agree, we are having a FABULOUS time!
