On 14th January 2009, five
pupils and a teacher from
All Saints visited the
BETT Show in Olympia.
It was so busy that there
were queues stretching
as far as around the corner
of the street.
BETT stands for ‘British
Education and Technology
Training’ It is an annual
show and is the biggest in the
whole of Europe. It is so popular that the French Minister of Education was there.
There were many stalls selling products from new designs of whiteboards to chocolate fountains. The salesman’s sleek ways led many of the public to consider investing in the company.
“My favourite stall was the weather channel because it actually felt like I was on T.V.” This was just one of the comments about the show we received.
The exhibition was open to the public, and managed to attract 4,000 visitors on its opening day. The attendees were mainly teachers or businessmen or women looking to invest.
There was a buzz about the place as the public got a glimpse into the future.
The BETT Show is open from 14th to 17th of January and supplies you with an insight into a new generation of technology.
